Baz Cumberbatch is a self-taught Island Impressionist creating mixed media pieces upcycled using all-natural material found on the Hawaiian Islands. Using no paints, dyes, or stains he transforms mother nature’s artwork into scenes that represent natural beauty from the sky to the sea.

Baz cumberbatch
Originally from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, his grandfather who made sailboats, and his father, a skilled carpenter and guitar maker, influenced Baz’s path to creating beautiful things.
Baz currently spends his time outside collecting natural plant materials, with his family, and at various art events around Maui, sharing the beauty of nature that surrounds us all with everyone he meets.
